Zeiss Planar 50mm F2. Carl Zeiss for Canon 85MM F14 Planar T ZE. This is a big tough lens. 1112019 The Zeiss Loxia 50mm F2 Planar lens is the third in the series that Im reviewing Ill follow up with the 85mm F24 and 25mm F24 lenses and the Loxia 50 serves as both the cheapest though that is relative of the Loxia series and one of my favorites optically due to the really tremendous color rendering and lovely bokeh from the lens. Because of the special bokeh at f2 I mostly shot it at f28 even though I usually prefer to shoot 50mm lenses at f2.

Like several of the 50mm lenses available in Leica M mount the Zeiss Planar doesnt really have any significant flaws.
