Rokinon 500mm Mirror Lens. Reviews found via forum search. I see them advertised by Overstock quite a bit and have found some reviews on the 500 mm mirror lens whch sells at overstock for 10600 with Nikon mount. I find my 500mm mirror lens is useful in many cases. 7212015 Realistically to capture star fields without significant star trails you are looking at exposures of between 15-30 seconds at F28 and ISO 1600-3200 with a 35-50 mm lens.
Light comes into the lens and bounces off and is focused by a large mirror at the back. The lens uses manual focus only. The Zeiss Mirotar is the gold standard of this bunch and will cost. 7202015 If you really want to get one of the old-school mirror lenses the Nikon Reflex-NIKKOR f8 N and the Canon FD 500mm f8 are both going to give you much better quality. The Pro Optics 500mm f63 is a mirror lens. The Rokinon 500mm F80 mirror lens is highly powerful and is ideal for sports or nature photography.

Pro Optics 500mm f63. The Tamron SP 500mm F8 Mirror Model 55BB is also well-regarded the earlier 55B version has issues. It is affordable powerful and produces sharp. Sorry for the low quality. Samyang makes two different 500mm F8 lenses. Especially if you have a D700 -.
