I will have to agree with Msmoto that the Nikon 85 18 is a fine lens if you look at the whole picture - Before I got the 18 I did a lot of test shots with a 14.
482015 OP keep in mind a f14 or f18 lens is better at low light due to the aperture opening up more and letting in more light BUT it also decreases your Depth of Field. 1242021 The f 18 D is the older edition of the 50mm 18 Nikon lens while the G is a newer more updated version.
