Mingus Creek Trail. Mingus Creek trail starts at the Mingus Mill on the NC side of the park between the Oconaluftee Visitor Center and Smokemont Campground. This hike begins and ends with the Mingus Creek Trail. There is an old grist mill there that I visited on my return.
