This LEICA SUMMILUX-M 24mm f14 ASPH is the fastest 24mm lens ever made for any rangefinder camera. I still use my 21mm Summilux-M ASPH f14. May contains normal amount of internal dustminor cleaning marks which will not affect the photos.
I wanted to see if the 24mm Summilux would change my mind about the 24mm focal length as I had something of a hatelove relationship with the 24mm 28 that I owned.
LEICA has only been making 24mm lenses since 1998. Summarit-M 35mm Summarit-M 50mm Summarit-M 75mm Summarit-M 90mm Summaron-M 28mm Thambar-M 90mm Super-Elmar-M 18mm ASPH. The first Summilux was the 50 mm of 1959 followed by a new 50 mm Summilux design in 1961 whose optics remained unchanged until replaced by the 50 mm Summilux-M ASPH of 2004. 1062017 With Leica 24 mm Summilux the corners are curved in the reverse direction canceling out the abnormality.
